    If there is no post count increase MOD in GC then no probs with game threads.
    And also they run into many many pages without any content.

    Except it still uses bandwidth and they dominate the New Posts section which annoys the other 99% of the forum that doesn't participate.

    Not every game thread was closed. We used a scientific formula to establish the post padding co-efficient and those over 92.5% were closed.

    Some of the factors in that formula were number of newbies (under 25 posts) posting, percentage of total posts, and reputation of those involved.

    They are automatically closed so neither the Mods or Shawn have any control over it.
