Which one is better???

Hello Guys,

Now a days we all are mostly use this tow tags for break paragraph

(1) <p>text</p>
(2) <br>text<br>

My question is which one is better to according googles point of view??

Exactly. para tag is most useful.
in mostly editor, when you just enter automatically will converted to <br> tag.
But editor will not take para tag itself.
So use.
<p>content</p>

 

Yes you are right guys but do you think that <p> tag is gain more weight of the page compaire to <br> tag??????

 

i would not think that would make any difference in SEO. you use <p> and <br> based on your site's design needs. if you want more space before next line or para then put a BR and if you just want to go to next para/line without putting any space in the middle then use P. in google's eyes, it should be all the same

 

There are no difference as the content is still pretty much the same

 

For me para tag is more useful in making content.. but it base on the design of your website....

 

I would suggest you to use the <BR> tag, since it's more better in different browsers.

<P> tag is more useful in formatting your text/paragraph. <br> is usually used when we only move/break the line.

 

It does not matter which one you use for SEO

 

Well guys good discussion and I'm really happy b'coz my doubt is clear so you guys give 95% vote to <p> Tags and also not much diffrents between both the tag as seo point of view.

It doesn't matter. Do what is logical.

 

Use <p></p> i think it better for writing paragraphs.

 

From the SEO point of view I don't think there would be any added advantage if you are using <p>...</p> than <br>. It is part of page design. You can use one that is suited to you.

If you want to code a paragraph, use <p> and if you want to break, use <br>.

It's a designing constraint, for SEO, the content should be easily readable by Search engines. That's all.
