Adsense Reports

I opened my adsense account today and it said you have to give your pin in order to receive payments !!

though my account has not even reached 100$ and i had made to receive the payments through western union!!!

then, why did they ask for the pin and it says pin has been sent on the 29 jan 2008. if that the case then how long will it get to reach here in pakistan

please and please someone can explain me all that!!!

 

They will send you the pin when you get near $100...
If i recall, it took a few weeks for my PIN to arrive, and i'm in the U.S. .. since you're a bit further away it might take longer unless Google has a closer location that it sends PINs from.

of course it's been over 2 years, so things might have changed since then.

as for why they're asking when you're only at $28, i dont know..

just because you've chosen Western Union does not exempt you from a PIN - they still want to make sure you are a real person with a real address.. unless it's written somewhere that if you use WU, you dont need a PIN ?

 

so,it sayys teh pin has been sent on jan 29..so it will, reach around in a month and then what?.. is there any other alternative if i don't get that pin cause i have heared people don't get their pins by post easily in pakistan..

please help me out!!!

 

I don't remember having to wait until $100 to get my PIN..?

Maybe I'm just remembering wrong. But I do remember it taking ~ 5 days to reach me in the UK.

 

I dont think there is any other alternative.. Since you only have $28, you still have plenty of time before you actually hit $100.. I would not start to panic unless you dont see the pin within a few weeks.. at that point nobody here can help you - you will need to contact Google.

 

The PIN used to be sent when you reached $50...

 

They just changed their policy on this. They now send out PINs at $10.

I am in Pakistan and got my pin in about a month

 

so if now that i have reached 28$ i should expect a pin to come then!! iss that so!!!

 

me too. the first time i made my first $25, i also receive the pin too... It's not strange

 

tera, recently they made changes PIN is now generated when you make $10 in your account.

 

According to the latest changes in their policy, Adsense send the PIN to the publishers when they reach their first $10.

When you reach $50 they send out the pin, could take up to 3 weeks.

 

Hi, Now I am at $18, I didn't receive PIN or there is no such type of link in my adsesne account.

 

This not some thing to worry about . Just wait for 30-45 day and if still there is no sign of PIN in your mail box , then write to google and request another PIN . What I think is that you have a lot of time

 

what if i recieve no pin then how would i get my payments is there any alternative to that?!!!

is this PIN thing new? I've been using Adsense since 2003, but don't recall needing, getting a PIN...what's it for???
