How much would it cost to rephrase/rewrite some articles?

I have several long articles and was wondering how much would it cost to rewrite or rephrase them?

I don't care much if the articles get shorter, just need the idea/content conveyed in the rewriting.

It´s hard to say. It really depends on who you hire to do the service.

In this forum you will find every kind of writers , charging from $1 to $50 for a re-write. Try posting in the Content Creation section and see what kind of offers you get.

    ORIGINAL TEXT:
"Your adjustable-rate mortgage has reset and you can't afford the higher monthly payments. In a sluggish real estate market, the property isn't worth the same as the day you bought it. What's next?"

    REWRITTEN TEXT:
"Your mortgage of adjustable-rate gave to zero and you can't you allow the higher monthly payments. On a slow market of real estate, the isn't of property in value the same ones as the day bought it to you. Nearest What ?"

Unfortunately, content rewriting software doesn't really get the English language. The amount of time it would take to go back over that chunk of text and make it passable would be the same as just writing a new paragraph (if you're a fast writer).

Dear Power_Writer, this is just a machine and not a human brain... No content rewrite tools can get the level of human brain.

jetspinner is another tool to try. It does not rewrite articles. It requires human intervention to generate up to 999 versions of the same article.

You know how much time it takes to {write|spin } an article on jetspinner. Those who have used it will know.

I usually charge about a penny a word for basic rewriting. It really doesn't take much time or effort to change the structure and wording to make it pass copyscape and still make sense.

You can get them at $1 per article, it is readable but it is usually not written by english speaking writers.

You need at least $2-3 min to get a good rewriter.

If you're hiring just for someone to re-write the articles, I certainly wouldn't go over the penny per word mark. Outsourcing is always a great way to find someone to re-write, but if you're looking for quality, stay with native English writers.

Language is not restricted to country :)
There are writers with excellent comand over the English language even in Asian countries. I am from India and charge much above the usual $0.1 per word. Outsourcing for original content is a great idea ;)

i notice most people are charging per word. I wouldn't like to be quoted on a per word basis. Wouldn't that encourage the writer to write more per article / content task. Writing more is not necessarily a good thing
