Are the sigs in this forum no-follow?

When I check the page source of a post I see the following:

I guess this tag <!-- google_ad_section_start(weight=ignore) --> means it's no-follow, doesn't it?

I also wonder if Google doesn't put less weight to signature links because of the sig tag - <!-- sig --> - and this one is on DP as well.

 

Hadn't noticed that until now, but yeah that does look like they are nofollow.

 

If you check the "External Links" section of Google Webmaster Tools, the links show up within ~ 2 weeks. But last for only for two months. Then they go away or are "archived".

Not much good anymore.

 

Meh, I've got like 200 links shown in Google from Digitalpoint, I don't know, they seem alright for me

No, this belongs to Adsense, not to the links. DP signature links are still valuable.

Great answer, plus like was also stated before if they used nofollow they would never appear in external links in Google Webmasters Central. I do think that only your first post in a thread should be dofollow and the rest nofollow to relieve the massive dilution of links.

Thanks guys for your replies. I know DP sig links are do-follow and they can also get you a new site indexed pretty quickly...

I'm just wondering if the HTML code above - if that tag means that the link is of "less weight" (weight=ignore)? - Note that this is not DP signature code, it's an other forum.

 

Re-read my answer above. These comments used only by Adsense to filter out irrelevant ads.

They seem to follow. But get archived quickly.

 

Sigs here is dofollow. Try to download seoquake to see if it's follow. I can see it's follow.
