Suggestion: Option to Show Posters last Thread Started

This idea just came to me. It would be really neat to be able to show our last thread started in our posts. Like the location for example.

    What do you think?

It would be cool but wrong forums :)

That would be a good recommendation for the VB software board as Shawn usually just uses standard options these days :)

I do not think that would be possible without modifications and I do not think Shawn will even consider it. You can however, list your thread in your signature if you want. Many people do this to promote their threads.

Yeah, that is good to promote a certain thread but it would be to much trouble to change your sig to show every new thread you started.

I disagree. This forum is for suggestions and that is exactly what I am doing, making a suggestion. ;)

    Anyhow " FLAME AWAY ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~:p

oh and ps - That was my "FEEDBACK"

Yes, you are absolutely entitled. :)

I still disagree though. I am not asking for anything, I am making a suggestion.

And I wasnt knocking you :)

I think its an EXCELLENT idea, I was just trying to say that VB would probably code that before Shawn would , I think he is pretty much retired :)

Heh, I don't want the sites in my sig associated with 2,900 posts that all say "WTS: this or that link" heh... it's bad enough they are sometime associated with the actual thread.

Though, there are times (more often then my example above) where I'd love to promote a new thread, but then, that's why I generally use the [thread] link BB code in my sig (which I have now).

Not a bad idea mind you, but I'm sure that there would be as many people against it as for it... and as for coding it in, it would likely not be all that hard, but then again, it would eat some server resources as it would need to generate a new table, then that table would need to be called on every post.
