The cultural impact of the french colonialism on the Moroccan identity

The nature of colonialism in the form of ancient and modern history is to exploit peoples and vulgarize them if possible at all levels, including the exploitation of culture. This immensity concept of the cultural activity in the western colonial period arises in Morocco just after the treaty of protection in 1912, which played a vital rule supporting and stabilizing the French colonial presence in the area. Thus, the French cultural immerse in Morocco affected the national principles by injecting economy, education, media, administrations, politics… external values that do not correspond with the Moroccan identity at any point. Consequently, Arabic for instance takes place only in poetry and as the language of the Quran, religion and traditions. In other words, it has become believed that it is unfit as a language of the modern age just as the same as any other national structure

I agree, I think - not sure what your point is though. It's pretty inarguable that colonial powers imposed their own system, including language, on the subjected.

 

even though it seems that some countries have got their independence. they are still struggling to cure themselves from the consequences. Morocco for example is one of those counties that still worshiping the colonizer strategies on the level of education, language, diplomacy....

Yes, my wallet dissappeared in no time, somewhere between the landing and the taxi !!!
I stayed 3 days: my wallet, my cell phone, groceries bag and a book. 4 different times, 4 different places...amazing...
They live massively in Belgium and France where the old ladies bags are their wages...

 

When I was in morocco, I didn't loose anything. You need to keep one step ahead of the hustlers. But, it didn't get long for me to tire of them trying to sell me a carpet 24/7. A met a lot of travelers that were ripped off which was the norm. You really need to be careful that no one plants any drugs on you then turns you into the police. Never leave any luggage with a morrocan or its sure to happen. They tried that garbage on me but I was on them like white on rice.

 

I'm not suprised. And they use to be better in their own country than outside.
In another country, they seems fearless beleive that worst case scenario will be to be back to Morocco. So they steal much more in other countries.
It's really like a sport for them...
