Building the Empire

    So, I read a nice ebook about AdSense and building an empire, and I have some questions;

    Are there any good content management "softwares" that is easy to install and free of charge, which also is SEO friendly and supports adsense ad implementation?

    Would, instead of buying a new domain to every single site, getting subdomains at my main site, hurt the earnings and rankings anything?

    Any tips?

    Sure there are. :) Mambo and Joomla are two very good ones. Lots of people also like phpNuke.

    If the subject of each site is different, I would recommend using separate domains.

    This is all crap. And crap sites don't convert, they don't bring any value to the visitors, and therefore you will get virtually no repeat visitors.

    You do not even know what kind of sites the user wishes to create, so you cannot say they are crap.

    You can start with subdomains and see how it performs.
    Getting hundreds or even thousands of domains is not exactly cheap.

    I use Wordpress for all my sites and use seperate domains

    I dont think that subdomains would work well, however, as I have not tried using subdomains it would be difficult to confirm

    Also, I have done some basic promotions like directory and article submissions for all the sites

    Thanks for the answers, I will try and experiment a bit with Mambo or Joomla, and with the subdomains first, to see the results.

    EDIT: New question, would "borrowing" articles from article directories and post a link to the respective owner make Google angry, or am I playing by the rules if I do so?
