Tool to find WHERE the bad link is.

OK, knowing bad links, in some small way, are not helping SEO, I have some on my site on a few of my sites. One site is fairly large 600 + pages, and I cannot find exactly where the link is. in other words what page the 404 or bad link is on.

Does anyone know a tool for that?

Just run a xml sitemap on your site, it will find and report the URLs it couldn't "index\spider" into the XML sitemap.

 

Thanks, but I guess I wasn't that clear, these are mainly external links. so what page is the link coming from, I just get a 404 message.

 

are referring to your dead/broken links?

 

Yes, I have them in my site, and do not know where they are in my site, as it is 600 plus pages. so it is difficult to find out where the bad links are.
