    The only important part in that is "Intel Dual XEON". The rest is pretty meaningless for you as long as it works. Also, whats important is what type of Xeon is that describing. Xeon has been around for YEARS, there are many different models.

    Not actually, I found that 1U normally needs modified fans which are not as durable as 2Us. So if you can try taking 2Us.

    I prefer tower lol but thats because its my hardware. 1U's are fine if the chassis is good. Any host that offers them should have a reliable chassis or they would have to keep replacing hardware which becomes expensive for the NOC

    1U and 2U refer to the different heights and mechanical dimensions. The 1U is thinner. The Web hosting company prefer 1U if they are short of space.

    Electrically there is little difference.
