:P Need help to set up an online shop!

Hi peeps, I'm located in Singapore and while looking through for guides in setting up an ecommerce shop, I came across this fab forum!

I've plans to set up a shop in Singapore but at the same time, I thought it might be better to have a website to introduce stuff about my shop. It can either be a simple website or an ecommerce website. By the way, I'm planning to go into fashion industry, selling clothes for ladies 19-35.

I've some questions here that need help!

1. Compared with a simple website indicating my shop details etc, is ecommerce website much more complex and expensive to build? if the differences are minimal then I might as well set up ecommerce shop =P

2. What are the stuff required to set up a simple website? I'm not an IT expert, only know that I have to buy domain name, web template (cos I don't think I can come up with the design on my own!) and web hosting.

3. Any good domain website and web hosting website to intro?

You dont need to pay anyone to setup an e-commerce site.

A hosted solution may be best given your limited technical knowledge. shopify.info is good if you plan on keeping it fairly simple.

There are some great options for setting up an ecommerce site. It can be more complicated to set up an ecommerce site but then you can sell your goods to a much larger market. What are you planning to sell?
