Your must have SEO plugins for firefox

    We all know that plugins make everybody's lives easier, so I thought I'd share my favorite SEO plugins and see if anybody else has any I am missing.

    First up we have Kgen I haven't used this that much but basically you visit a site and it'll tell you which keywords are 'strong'. This is determined by how many times a keyword is mentioned on a site and different places hold different weights. (E.g a keyword in the title is worth more than a paragraph.) I find it useful for keyword research and what not.

    SEOquake , this shows you heaps of handy information in the search results themselves. (PR, links, how many pages are indexed etc.) Also if you visit a site you can have it show these details in the top left hand corner. You can also use it to highlight keywords/show keyword density and heaps of other cool stuff.

    Searchstatus - This shows you google PR and alexa rank in the bottom right corner. You can also use it to highlight keywords/show keyword density. It overlaps a lot with SEOquake, but you can have it highlight links which are nofollow which I find extremely useful. (Much quicker than looking in firefug for the nofollow attribute.)

    Try "source chart" - it gives you a super easy page source view of any website :)

    before I'm using Inventory Overture for keyword searches per month, and since overture gave up this tool because of a certain problem. Now I'm using a keyword searching tool which is based in top 4 search engine, which are Google, Yahoo, MSN and Ask!

    I also have IE View. Helps to see what a page looks like in IE by right-clicking on the Firefox page, rather than opening another browser tab/window.

    I'm going to have to check out the IE view as well. I hate wasting time to open internet explorer when I'm editing a site.

    I installed it and just uninstalled it. There's nothing special about it. It just opens a page up in IE.

    An add-on that I is good for developers is "Web Developer". It has a lot of useful tools.

    I have just launched Link Diagnosis Firefox Extension. It lets you see:

    Most of the backlinks that site have + lots of interesting data like:

    * see Google Pagerank of every backlink
    * see Anchor text of every backlink
    * see if links are no-follow
    * see most popular anchor texts
    * see charts with breakdown of pagerank and link types
    * CSV exports

    See the link in my signature.
