    Advertising (learn more)

Advertise virtually anything here, with CPM banner ads, CPM email ads and CPC contextual links. You can target relevant areas of the site and show ads based on geographical location of the user if you wish.

Starts at just $1 per CPM or $0.10 per CPC.

I recieve 10,000 visitors a day but dont make much money

    Hi

I own www.pspmod.com and I run google ads on my site. The google ads dont perform very well because I am recieving a PPC around 0.02 - 0.10.

I have tried other ad companys and while i get more money per clicks I dont get as many clicks because the ads are not relevant to my site.

Any ideas what I can try?? Does anyone know what PPC company I can try to get relevant ads showing on my site???

    Thanks

It's because it's a forum, even though you have tonnes of ads people still know exactly what they want to click - a forum topic, not an ad.

Users on forums are very ad blind.

Try AdBrite's inlines and CPM ads, I reccomend you Canep Media or ValueClick.

You may also try affiliate offers particular to your niche-plus sticky topics. CPC wont work well with forums.

i have a PHPBB forum . my PPC is in Double figure.
most of the earning come frm google
try changing colors of ur ads.
put 1 or two ad unit on a page.
use box unit in place of 728X90.
160X600 text ads r not effective in forums.

You could try WidgetBucks (See my sig for link). They have a bunch of categories for video game sites. You can rotate a bunch of different categories on your site to see which earns you more. I have made up to $0.45 per click on one day with the "Game Consoles" category.

and another important thing. Your ads are out-placed. Everyone look direct at the middle of the page, not the borders. You must follow the "F" to get good results.

I had a same problem as You. I also have a dating portal which is actually very popular, but as on forums, on dating portal users are blind for ads. My recomandation for you is simple, do what I have done: Find some real advertisers in Your city and that is the very best solution. I have advertiser which pays me by impression. Or other suggestion is to find some real Pay per Impression company and to serve their ads.
Best, and I really hope you'll find some better solution to earn more money.
