Creating adsense channels

I have 3 adsense units on my blog.I want to have separate channel for each unit to fing out how they are doing.How can this be achieved.Do we have to submit url of the page for making channels?If so how can i give the url since all the adsense units are on the same page?pls advice

 

once you login to your adsense account, go under account setup, generate a code, and at the end it will ask you to setup a channel. you can setup different channel for each ad block to tracking

 

channels are good, because you can see how much ad is earning and with those statistics you can improve your ads position in your website

in ur adsense account, click on "Adsense Setup", then "Channels" then "Add new custom channels".

here enter name for 1 ad unit, for example, "top ad", create this channel, then again "Add new custom channels", create 2 more channels, "middle ad" .. "Bottom ad"

now, click on "Channels", here u will see the 3 ad channels u just created, all will have a unique "ID"

now u need to add a line of code in all 3 ad units.

add this line to the 3 ads units

"google_ad_channel = "xxxxxxxxxx"; "

xxxxxxxx = Put ID here
