SEO Issues with https

    This is the deal.



    Boss wants to build an entire site in https:// It’s a NEW SITE and it won’t have an http version (so duplicate content shouldn’t be an issue). Some pages will be behind login but less than 5% of site.



    Will this be a crawling indexing issue? Or ultimately a ranking issue?



    Does anyone know whether there will be a browser issue, display of the pages. Need specific examples if yes.

    i don;t think there would be any issue you need to be concerned of. a site might start with http or https, can have www or no www, can be an unique domain or a subdomain. SEO wuld be the same for all
