in India, and to be exact, at Jharkhand i can buy 0.8 to 0.7 liters of petrol in $1. [45 Rs = 1 liter of petrol and $1 = 37 to 38 INR and falling:eek:]

    Yes you can :D
Small packs of gum are still 25 Cents ($0.25) :)

    $1 - 2 330ml cans of soda or one soda ~600ml
    $1 - Small Candy Bar
    $1 - Very Small Cheeseburger
$1 - Very Small French Fries
    $1 - 1 Liter of Gas/Diesel

Thats about it, and in some places, even these things cost 10-20% more. (USA)

Here in the Philippines a dollar is worth about 40 pesos. That will buy you 2 bottles of San Miguel lager beer at the convenience store (Of course it's even cheaper at the supermarket). BTW would believe that here, beer is cheaper than Coke?

Hmm, I never knew that. A small Coca-cola is worth 10-12 but a small bottle of beer is worth 15 o.o

A dollar? Not a girl for sure.
