Yes you can Small packs of gum are still 25 Cents ($0.25) $1 - 2 330ml cans of soda or one soda ~600ml $1 - Small Candy Bar $1 - Very Small Cheeseburger $1 - Very Small French Fries $1 - 1 Liter of Gas/Diesel Thats about it, and in some places, even these things cost 10-20% more. (USA)
I vascilate between two countries with more or less the same value currency. for 1$ - I can buy 1 liter of fuel Alternatively - 2 liters of Coke (The Coca Cola type)
Philippines: probably around 2-3 cans of pepsi/coke. 2 hotdog sandwiches. 1 personal pizza. Maybe 5-8 small bags of chips.
Finland: $1 - gets me 15 mins of parking time $1 - could get me mini-beer bottle if somebody was selling them $1 - almost gets me a small hamburger $1 - can get me 1 kg potatoes
Here in the Philippines a dollar is worth about 40 pesos. That will buy you 2 bottles of San Miguel lager beer at the convenience store (Of course it's even cheaper at the supermarket). BTW would believe that here, beer is cheaper than Coke?
Hmm, I never knew that. A small Coca-cola is worth 10-12 but a small bottle of beer is worth 15 o.o A dollar? Not a girl for sure.
