The Xoom is asking for the Bank Branch District. I called the bank and they said there is no such Bank Branch District. So what to do ? They are asking for Bank Name: Given Bank Account Number: Given Bank Branch Name: Given Bank Branch Code: Given Bank Branch District: ??? / same as Branch Name ??? What did you do ?
Are you from india and dont know about District No one can help you in this as its your district so how one can help you in this ? DON.
I supposed you are from India. I believe the District is not a bank code out rather the bank location, ie indian district
Well Barnch name means your City or Towen name. Well I wonder if you from India and don't know district name. ( I think in Hindi we should called Tehsil and in Gujarati Jilla) Find the list from here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Indian_districts Check your Districts name For a example. I am from Surat. City name: Surat District Name: Surat. As it's branch District.
if you do not know which district you are in, check http://www.statoids.com/yin.html and see anything looks familiar
bhaya tehsil is somewhat different .. it gos this way : gaun ( village) --> tenhsil (dont know angrezi for this) ---> jila (district) ---> pradesh (state)
Suppose, I got paid $250+ and I tried to XOOM the money to my bank after few mins, is there any chance of getting my account limited ? I hear that transactions bigger than $200 gets your account limited.... I'm worried about that.
What if your account is unverifed ? Then it might get you limited. And then they'll ask for adding Credit Card to you account and upload Utility Bill. And the major problem is I don't have a Credit Card.
Keep one thing in your mind that you can't transfer your paypal funds through xoom if you have unverified paypal account so better you verify your paypal account first or else withdraw funds through check from paypal from your unverified paypal account.
Without verifying PayPal you can't use Xoom or you can't make more than $100 payments. So make verify your account now. You can use PayPal's direct bank deposite option because it's safe and PayPal have no problems with it.
I've done that PayPal Direct Bank Deposit with small amount (for TEST purpose) yesterday, let's see if it's done perfectly. And I've also asked my friend to Xoom me some money to my Bank Account. So I'm waiting for both.
When I made my transactions a month ago, they never ask for district things. For what I can remember is only the "sort code" which will tell you which bank and which branch is it. Check with your bank to find out the sort code and if that does not help, then I think it's better to contact xoom personally.
Well, I've given the Bank Branch Code as the "0xx" not the IFCS code which is "xxxx00000xx"... Well, do I have to give the IFCS code or the branch code will do ?
Well PayPal takes upto 48 hours but you can wait for 4 days. I am sure your amount would be transfer into your bank account. If PayPal failed to do your money will be back in your PayPal. I think you should use PayPal Direct deposite option. In Xoom you may have risk of limited account. Well you have to provide IFCS code. I think PayPal may return your amount. Let's what happen.
XOOM want us to add Bank Name,Bank Account Number,Bank Branch Name,Bank Branch Code and Bank Branch District since long time if we want to transfer funds to bank account. So you need to check it properly DON.
Nah...My previous transfer was more than that amount (close to 2times) and it was sent to UK. I'm not sure about the sort code which you mentioned here because the British bank only has 6 numbers and basically I just put down the a bank name (not a complete one) without the even mentioning the district. The sort code will actually tells them which bank and location it correspond to. Yeah, another thing is that be prepared to receive a phone call if you intend to make large transaction. They will ask you basic question like "where you money comes from". Just be prepared.
We are talking about transfer to India through XOOM thats why it requires district also while transfer to bank account. DON.
