I started bum marketing a couple months ago... mainly using ezine articles.
I am having a strange problem. I am hoping someone could tell me what I am possibly doing wrong.

The niche i chose for writting articles on is tattoos, with different types of tattoo designs being my keywords.

I wrote 10 articles altogether so far. 2 of my articles had a high number of searches for the particular keyword i was tergeting, and these articles had made it to spot 10 and 13. I decided to try and build links to those 2 articles, so I wrote another couple articles about the keyword and submitted them to only a few sources such as Xomba and Usfreeads. I did very little link building like this. My problem is this: Those articles that were on page 1 or 2 of google have now completely disappeared from the search results. I mean, i checked until about the 15th page, andthey were not there. The funny thing is that other articles, such as the one i posted on Usfreeads shows up on page 8, but the ezinearticle is nowhere to be found.

Has anyone had a similar experience, or could anyone tell me what i might be doing wrong, and if there are any more relaible ways to build links to an ezine article?

Helpful posts will be MUCH appreciated and repd. Thanks!

Hi there that's a very good question. It depends if there are any ezine articles that have taken your place....sometimes that can occur that your article will only be there so long and then another ezine article targeting the same keywords will take its place.

You could try doing some inexpensive social bookmarking submissions here at the DP forum to help you out, that has worked for me.

Also you could try submitting articles to buzzle.com and also articlesbase.

Hope this is helpful. Keep up the good work.

well the article wasn't removed.. because its still in my account...
Well for one of the articles, it was at spot number 10 for about 3 weeks before it slipped to spot 12-13.. and then now disappeared completely. for both articles I wrote unique content, or as unique as it could get.. because alot of other people were writting articles on those subjects as well. Do you think people writting duplicates of my article after mine was already published could hurt me?

It happens quite often - so I write more articles :) then some more!
Google is a tricky thing... I wouldn't be surprised if one day your articles would be back up on the first page.

That has happened to me. I have had an article fall off the radar for months and suddenly
see that I am getting traffic from it again. Definitely just keep writing more articles.

Do you guys write a few articles on the same keyword or just write a lot more articles on different keywords?

I mean, there is only so much you can write for a particular set of keywords. :(

It's a common issue with google. They'll probably come back soon unless they have been gone for more than a month.

Additionally I would Stumble your articles and ping them
