well, i came to know that from a google representative"BADAR KHUSHNOOD" for the country pak. i talked to him on the phone line and he said something about the W3C html standards that is the website should have as many less errors on the page by that global standards inorder for the "NEW" website to gain good rankings in google and earn something from adsense:eek:

so, how far have you been through this and experienced it..just check and share with me thoughts

This is a theory in the minds of many SEO experts, but you still see sites not using the standards still out ranking sites that do.

Yes, I think we should verify sites at W3C. I have to 2 sites, both have NO errors when I check them at W3C

its all about how you market your site. you can build a template from scratch and do all the onpage optimizations, then do link building for rankings. as long as the site is clean, SE friendly, has sitebap or easy to follow link structure, and no dead links, you will be fine. but if you are concerned about valid W3C format, you can just search for W3C valid template or something and you can find lots of them. use a ready made template and stay worry free

Is this true. I dont think it is cos i remember checking google.com with the same tool couple of days back it gave 49 errors as well as no valid doc declaration.

So thats does not hold true as per me.

May be ill have to verify it again cos it was about 3 or 4 days back when i checked that.
