Yep, Al posted about it here. It pays to be vigilant as it would be pretty easy to fall for an old trick when given a new disguise.

It would be better to tell us directly how to avoid phishing attack right here at dp rather than directing the members to some personal blogs. Does it look fair?
Just every time when you login check the url in address bar if it shows some other url other then digitalpoint url then it is phissing Regards, Abhisek, Mutha Hostings
Yes I got one link in pm by this guy who is banned now, that faked the DP login screen, I was lucky to change my password really fast.
Well I did change my password to be more on the secure side, but hell it took me the whole morning trying to remember my new password.....

It is down, the last time I remembered was it was at 000webhost.com a free web hosting service, I send them an abuse email. But I guess that guy seemed quite determined, he will sure get another host and start again, it is better to be vigilant.
he went down because i reported the site. Yeah i do agree...he'll come back again. yeah! I still reported them to namecheap...I wonder if anything can be really done.
Alot of you guys are webmasters so you should be able to pick up this sort of stuff easily seeing as you have experience with the interweb. I never fall for it but alot of my friends do.
