How it could be PR8 from PR3?

Yeah , i am mad at google right now for not indexing my site properly and WTF? why is my site www. PR 1 and without www. its a PR 3

 

So, in other words, scam as many people as you can, while you have the time?

 

PR now showing as a 5 on the page that was showing an 8. I think there were issues.

Seems to be settling down as a five site wide, which is about right. (Though I'm happier when I see sixes -- it's a site that gets tons of strong links.)

I don't sell links on this site, so that's not it. There are usually a handful of external links on any given page, but nothing abnormal.

i have 7 blogs and i'm pleased to say that 2 of them have PR3 and one have PR4. Rest of it are still new and i didn't expect to get PR.

 

i think that it's just an small error from google pr bar or even from google server. If it is from google server, you are very lucky...

Weird a Relaunched one of my sites with no posts and got an automatic PR1

 

Shame Nextdir's category pages all (mostly all, anyway - I've not looked through every category!) lost PR, down to 'PR N/A' or PR0.

Has anyone here had TWO updates for PR to the same domain? in the past 2 Quarters

Im trying to figure out the 'rules' for PR updates and I need to know:

1// In the PR update before this one ,the final quarter 07 update , did you have a virgin site that got a PR?

If so what PR was it? (Is PR2 the maximum a 'new' site can get at the first update?)


2/ Did you also get a PR update for that site this PR update - 2008 Quarter 1 Update (this last week), if so what was it?

Im trying to figure out if Google gave 2 PR updates in a row to any previously PR 0 sites at Q4 07 update!

Im curious if Google skipped those 'new sites' this update and just went for either PR 0 sites or more mature sites that have had PR longer than 1 update.

Please list your sites age, if it was PR0 last year, and what PR you got at 4th quarter update last year and if you also got update this first quarter

 

well, one of my blogs on october last year got a PR4!! and on the last update (whick took place this month) jumped from PR4 to PR5

Ive had a site go from no PR to PR4 in the first update.

 

I am afraid your theory doesn't hold much water. One of new site increased from PR0 to PR1 in the Q4 update (actually within a month of being launched, but we did build a lot of links during that month), and during this update now is PR2. Another site, a niche directory, passed from 1 to 2 during the first update and now is PR3.

 

I know. I cant understand it. I have a hobby forum that has no SEO or backlinks that I have pestered for and that went to PR5. From PR 0

No backlinks that you have 'pestered for' but perhaps someone on a fairly high PR site naturally backlinked to you? Or several someones with moderate PR sites backlinked? Not that it is entirely accurate, but does Google show any backlinks for your site? If so, some of those sites may well be high enough in PR that their juice boosted yours to PR 5.
