    donatehalf.com is the domain... i need some ideas for it. the kicker is this...it cannot have anything to do with donations to charities, or anything like that.

    i could always just throw up an arcade script and that will be that, but i'd rather do something else with it...i just don't know what, and i've been sitting with the empty domain for a couple weeks now...

    would appreciate any suggestions... :cool:

    Why not donations and stuff? How about a site dedicated to how to donate half your car to one charity and half to another since it's often hard to decide which charity I should give my old Beamer too.. just give two of them half of it.

    That's a very good idea. Run a donate-a-car business, people can donate the car to you, you deduct administrative costs, then give half of the proceeds to 1 charity, half to another.

    The problem is that that's acting as a middleman for a charity, which in Massachusetts is illegal.

    Not to mention, that's a LOT OF WORK above and beyond setting the website up itself :p

    Wow, you guys read Donate Half, and I read Don Ate Half. :p

    I was thinking it would be a great site for a picture blog of a guy (Don presumably) eating half of something. It could be a weekly update of you taking snapshots of one of your buddies as he eats various things.

    But you could as mentioned above provide a portal to the top charities, how to contact them, testimonials from people, maybe even talk to some of the charities and give their stories on your site.

    Raising the awareness of charities, even local charities if you want it to be more specific.

    I think that's a pretty good idea, it would be interesting to have a sight that highlights noteworthy donations.

    My vote goes for Don Ate Half site, that's just too funny.

    Just make it sort of like E-N (everything-nothing ) type of site, lot of ideas to go around with that.

    That is if you are looking to make money and have fun, if you are looking to help charities that's probably not the right idea.
