If you have followed the instructions corectly and placed the file .htaccess to the root directory without renaming it, you should be ok. Another option is to check your last days' stats and see if any China/Iran visitors are there. If not - you are ok.

My Proxy List, http://www.freeproxy.ca sends a lot more traffic then most Proxy Lists.
Most of the traffic comes from solid google search engine results.

This seems to be a good place to ask this question. Forgive me I am a newbie

I am looking for a way to get elite proxies that I can use more than once. Either by setting my own up, through someones program etc.

I use a program now that lets you use multiple US proxies but you can rotate them and re-use the same ones. When I find proxies online I usually can't use them again I guess they are no good to keep going back to.

I would really appreciate some suggestions

 

well if you plan to set up a proxy for your own use, its likely to be 3-4 times longer life than normal proxies.

what type of proxy are you willing to start?
phpproxy? or cgiproxy?

if you dont know what proxies were you using? mind a link or 2?

 

Does anyone know why cgi-proxy breaks so easily?
I'm finding if I edit something and upload it. It breaks, (show a blank screen)
So I hit ctrl-z and undo it, save it, reupload it. But the thing is it still is broken.
How can that be? I undo the changes save it and reupload still broken.

I have had to keep reinstalling it.
Starting to piss me off.
