Okay, so theres topics all the time asking, "Whats the fastest way to make money from adsense?" or "What kind of site should I make to make $ from adsense?"

    ANSWER:

-Do not build a website just for the sole purpose of putting ads on it.
-Do not build a website about medicine or california lawyers trying to bank off of high paying keywords.
-If you're looking to make money from adsense, actually make a good website, update it daily.
-Going back to tip #2, dont make it about stupid stuff, make it about something you actually care about as well as other people.

Seriously...how many times are we going to see some guy making a website about nothing, obviously for the sole purpose of slutting adsense ads out on it.

You're not going to get any traffic, so whats the point?

    BUILD A GOOD WEBSITE
    THEN
    Use adsense.

    RANT OVER.

Your site must be a relevant one so that the adsense will blend on the contents...

    Agreed.

There are some sites I made because I always wished there was a resource like that on the web. Those bring in steady money.

And there are some I made just to throw ads on. They bring in pennies, and really were a waste of time.

Well, some forums can convert well. It really depends. I mean if your forum gets a million hits a day, of course put ads on it.

Not to make waves or anything - but I am currently in the
process of a case-study to prove this theory wrong.
However, I am going to do it in a different way than just
    throwing up crappy sites. ;)

Buddy me if you want me to share my findings.:D
    Take care.

edit - I only say this because I threw up an absolute ad-
sense site, and it started making me a couple bucks within
a week or so a day (with prolly 2 clicks). So I am testing
    something out.

I do not agree with this by no means. It is possible to make some really good money off higher paying keywords you just have to get traffic to them....I do suggest to actually make the site useful and the content worth reading.

Don't be afraid to chase money ;)

Very true. The potential is limitless once you have a great and useful site. Adsense is only one out of the many ways to generate revenue for your site.

If one is only focusing only for Adsense, he/she will always be fighting fire..

updating the site regularly with content that user like to read would also help.

    I agree with you, frodosringfinger.

Actually, I do have some sites built to sport ads alone, and I also have a few that provide good information. The former perform really poor in comparison with the latter. While I wouldn't totally discourage arbitrage enthusiasts, it would be a better option for you to make sites in niches you're familiar with. "Buy diamonds USA" may be a very lucrative keyword but do you actually buy/sell diamonds? And do you live in the US? :D

    Cheers
