There must be thousands of sites that offer free advertising but many are not free.


What free means is you don't pay or trade anything to get free advertising.


Free advertising can be found at www.caklassifieds.com with no strings attached.


Most of the free advertising sites want you to trade traffic. That is not considered free to me.


If you have to give up traffic to get traffic than your paying by giving away your visitor to get a visitor.


This is crazy people. I'm not saying it's not a good service but you will find yourself in the same position.


Is there a better way to get advertising without giving away the visitors you have already, of course.


Here's the 10 best ways to get free advertising.


1.)Post free advertisements at www.caklassifieds.com this is a free online classifieds with very unique categories that make it the most advertiser friendly sites on the web. The site allows you to set your ad to never expire, and when you add a site logo or picture with your ad it shows randomly on the home page and in the category you placed your ad.


2.)Answer questions on yahoo answers but mainly answer the questions that pertain to your site and recommend your site for use.


3.) Distributing Pamphlets: You could print pamphlets with the required information about your website and distribute it among those who could actually benefit from it.


4.)Leave comments in blogs: If you come across a blog which has a post which deals with the subject that you have covered in your website then leave a comment in that post and type your website URL in place of your signature and ask people to visit your website to get more information about similar topics in your website, provided your website actually has more information.


5.)Start Blogging: You can start a blog of your own at www.blogger.com and write your posts and mention the recourses of these posts as your website name. Here you can also come to know what people feel about your website contents from the comments that they leave and also lead to publicity of your website.


6.)Write press releases: This is again a very good way to gain popularity and there are various sources on the internet itself which provides free press releases facility.

Try Ezine articles aswell.

Unlimited number of articles allowed.

And your allowed signature links in each of them.

 

Yeah, that's a really similar list. Ah maybe I just read to many XXX ways to get traffic/make money/build links. lol

My list has free advertising only not 25 ways to advertise that everyone knows already!

 

Great list, but I would add posting in forums with a link to your site in your signature. Also, I wouldn't spend to much time on yahoo answers....yahoo will disable your account if you post answers with the same link to many times.

For me article marketing is the best way. I submit to Ezine Articles.
So far I have generated 1000 leads and I have just gotten started.
I'm writing 10 to 20 articles a day. Also I find that these leads convert
much better than leads from other sources. Iv'e also generated about 800
links to my web site giving me good search engine rankings.

Free advertising is always a good thing.

 

Find the most popular forums, in the same niche as your site. Only the ones that offer SIG LINKS.

And join up and start posting. Then you should be fine.

 

WIKIPEDIA does allow links. Be sure to put them in the 'external links' section.

It's a great way to get traffic. I love writing for wikipedia, and getting traffic in exchange. It's a great marketing idea.

 

ya i tried to add an external link to alexa related post present in my blog but they have removed it. I dont know how can we make those add.

Well.. article marketing sure is a killer way of getting traffic that converts, but for lazy people like me, the hurdle is writing those articles..

Outsourcing is an option, but if you choose to start with 0 investment, then writing articles can sure become a pain in the arse.. unless ofcourse, you are someone who loves to write articles

 

How good does everyone rate Ezine articles?

I usually write articles with them and just leave a sig link down the bottom?
