Hello I have a $100 apple store credit coupon laying around.. I am wondering if I should start a contest where the top poster would get this as the prize.. I am wondering how worth it it is to do this... And if I would get enough posts to make it worth it lol..

Let me know what you guys think thanks! :D

    good idea.

You could say when the forum hits 10,000 posts, the top poster wins the coupon

Is your forum all about apple products?
If so,that's definitely a good idea.

This is not a best selling idea because Apple's target clientèle is very small. The other factor is that you don't get an Apple product for $100 (except maybe a cover for your iPod), so the winner will have to put something from his own pocket, which is not very appealing.

BUT, if you are not going to use this coupon yourself, then, go ahead, start a contest, something is better than nothing.

I think that it would be better spent giving or selling to someone you know who needs apple credit, and giving away $100 in cash.
