I think you should elaborate. What are you talking about? With only 9 posts, you wouldn't think that you would know a whole lot about Shawn Hogan or DP...

 

Oh, i do know about DP, i was a frequent visitor. Here's the eloboration:

When he(shawn) was young he wanted MONEY, like all of us do want. I am upset with DP because of the recent VCC decision, though iam an india, and dont do VCC, still i want to say that the recent decision was irrelevant. I want to ask you so called MODS, and admin why did you suddenly decide to ban VCC and currency exchanges all of a SUDDEN? If it was ILLEGAL to do so why did you implement on this forum in the first place?

I won't propose to speak for anyone other than myself here.

Those type of transactions endorse, promote and enable a wide variety of fraud. Futhermore they might to some small degree even enable the terroist activities.

I whole heartly approve and support their being banned at this forum.

 

To the original poster: What is there about free-market capitalism that people can't seem to understand?

Shawn owns DP; it is his to do with as he wishes. You can join or quit, that's up to you. How he runs his forum and website is up to him. Vote with your feet if you disagree. That's why I love the free market. Owners can set the rules, customers can choose to join or not to do so. So everyone has "a choice".

DP has become a spawning ground for scammers, and has gained a reputation for the same. I have been on other forums, that think "scam central" when they hear the name Digital Point. Many many forums go to crap because Admin do not clean up the trash that comes in. The decision med by Shawn was a good one, and not only does it benefit the reputation of DP but it benefits you and i and all other member as well

 

if you dont like it get lost! plain and simple.

 

Shawn has done the DP community a great service by banning the sale of VCC and currency exchanges. It helps cut fraud a LOT.

While I do agree on the ban, I don't fully agree with what you said here. Although it's his to play with, it's the members of DP that made it what it is today (and made Shawn a lot of money, most likely). So it would be in his interest to go with the majority. If the majority would have voted FOR VCC of course.
