So I was looking for a myspace friend adder out there and came up on a phishing site in spot #3. I read reports of tons of ppl getting scammed out of thier account on it.. So I emailed google about the site and this is what I get..

We're always sorry to hear when a site misrepresents its products or treats individuals unethically.

As you may know, Google is a reflection of the web. Although we
aggregateand organize content published on the web, we don't control the content itself.

It's our policy not to police content. Rather we hope that by including
asmuch information as possible in our results, you'll be able to easily
    findwarnings about rogue sites.

Nice to know that they will keep this site at #3 and let ppl continue to get thier accounts stolen. What a bunch of loosers.

Who would manage the department in charge of finding out if a report was true or not? Google isn't the BBB..

Yah but either way, a blatent site that Phishes ppls account information should NOT be on the front page in the top results at that. Ive seen on Yahoo and MSN forms to fill out to report phishing/fraud sites but not with Goog. Just doesnt seem right to me that thiefs can reap benifits and get away with it... Would it be ok have a child porn site in the top listings?? No... and Im sure goog would remove it ASAP... things like this should be no different.

Interesting,,,, so sometimes they do and sometimes they don't police sites and their intent/content. Just one of those things 'power' does I guess... Still, at least you tried, you might get better responses by reporting stuff closer to home, perhaps, sites that publishes both adsense and ypn on the same page! or maybe folk selling adsense tips,,, maybe try again tomorrow...
