500 in body. 100 in intro and 100 in conclusion. Thats what i write with ezinearticles. And it works best.

its all up to you. And i think keyword density is a lot more important.

The words do not too long (more than 1000), and do not too short (less than 300), so i consider it's good for around 600 words.

I did exactly. It seems to me it works well.:)

Ya......its all upto you but I think its better to have approximately 600 or above words in an standard article.....and I have seeen some article sites that does not accept articles if it is less than 500 words.........so at least it should be not less than 500 words in an article.

I think, it hardly matters how long your article should be, what matters is the motive of your article. It should be precise and make readers feel WOW! It should be informative.

I usually submit 500 words up but not more than 700... Sometimes, I submit from 400 to 500 words and still get approved. Well I think it would really depend on the site you are going to submit your articles. :)

I'm assuming the article will be submitted to directories? If so, I prefer shorter articles. 300-500 words, keep it concise and clean.

For me, the ideal article must contain 500 words only that compose of 2 paragraphs and its because of the reason of being exact to the readers interest, not short and not long...
