How Often Is Alexa Ranking Updated?

Quick question guys... how often is alexa ranking updated? is it updated daily, weekly, monthly, or annually?!

 

I believe it doens't take thaat long for it to be updated, I've seen some people that used it to compare results within few months of existence, I guess they must update it at least monthly

 

Alexa rankings are updated once a week. Horaciocs, if you don't know the answer, don't comment.

 

Well it's actually updated daily... If you want to see yesterday's rank, just lookup your site on alexa.com (although it won't give you a daily rank if you're not in the top 100k.)

The average displayed on the toolbar is for 3 months, and you'll see updates on that every few days to a week or so, depending on which toolbar, Firefox extension, etc that you are using.

 

my site gets a new rank after every 10-15 days, i don't think it is updated daily.

 

Then you need to learn to read alexa.com

1. Go here: http://www.alexa.com/data/details/traffic_details/digitalpoint.com

2. Scroll down to "Traffic Rank for Digitalpoint.com"

3. Look under "Yesterday"

Repeat daily and you'll see a new daily rank.

I never asked myself about this even im check my alexa daily. Maybe due to less increment on my alexa i never notice it been updated daily.

 

The alexa rank of my site gets updated once in 7-10 days (since it is more than a million)

 

This is listed on their webpage. Ranking is updated early in the week (sun or mon) and the graph updates maybe every 36 to 48hrs. But a lot of the time it updates and only has half the data, so that explains any sharp declines at the end.
