What would you do if you were banned from DP! ( Answer honestly please )

I would register again under a new similar name I guess..

 

Well, i've had some infractions and was kinda upset about them. Especially when I got duplicate ones for one offense. Overall though, I just decided that it wasn't too big of a deal and I'd try to avoid them later on. I don't know how long a ban lasts though. That might tick me off a little more.

 

me and another DP member were banned for the reason duplicate accounts. We both had to submit ID documents to MaryMary to be allowed again

 

That's enough to make you send a PM to the mods begging to be banned..

 

just knowing me shouldn't be a bannable offense.

 

I would just do something else and hopefully one day i will get unbanned.

 

I thought I heard saying the name Cylon would get you banned.

I got banned for 3 months, i just waited and used some other forums

You just have to wait it out, learn your lesson, and keep contributing.

For me... it was kind of like a vacation from smack... probably good for me overall, but hard to bear at the time.

 

Well if you get banned and you really really are desperate to post on dp then the way it would be done is......

1) set up a fresh copy of XP on Virtual PC so that there is 100% no trace of any stored dp cookies.

2) configure the browser on the new install to connect via a private proxy server so there is no evidence of connecting from your logged ip

3) set up a new gmail or free email account

4) set up a new account on dp under an assumed name of course.

5) keep posting until your other account is unbanned.

Not even Samantha Pia could catch you with that setup.

Now, 3 things are going to happen. I am either going to receive a tonne of green reps for this helpful post, loads of red reps for appearing to be deceitful or receive an infraction, possibly get banned for trying to show others how to circumvent dp dupe account policy.

Option 1 for me, although I ahve never been banned so I would have the slight urge to burst out and cry.

 

If I got banned... I'd spend my time somewhere else. This isn't the only forum on the internet.
