This poll is the result of forum competition that was previously posted here.
In light of many critics of such services, I have decide to start this competition, so all of us get a chance to see the quality of work of these companies. Each company will make 100 post in my forum Gentlemen's Cafe during the next 2 week and you can chose which company service is the best in your opinion.

This will be beneficial for all of us looking for such services because not only we can see the general quality of posting for each company but also everyone they use for posting, so if you find someone that you like, you can ask the company that they should use that person for your postings.

The companies taking part in this are as follows:

    1) Company: www.Forumadvantage.com

    User names: nitrogen and applexcore

    2) Company: www.Forumbulge.com

    User names: Mike and Peter

    3) Company: www.ForumFrogs.com

User names: Render, floordown, cappuccino and CaptainFox

    4) Company : www.Inb0x.com

User names: Blueangel, Raven, Stitch, Missie and Twinkle

    5) Company: www.PostOnMyForum.com

User names: cali, Tits McGee, SaleenGT and kaabi

    Suggestion:

Turn each username in your post to a link to their profile. This way we can get to their posts with ease.

I was just trying to check it out but doing a search for each user name it looks like only one (cali) has made any posts. I got tired of searching after four or five.

    Just a suggestion :)

I pm'd you gworld - but I'll just say it quickly here to see what other opinions are.

I still believe it would have been best if you did this undercover.
Upon looking through the posts on your forum, post length compared to normal has been significantly raised by all involved.
I can guarantee that 10-20 line posts are not the norm on regular posting jobs (I see it all, so I should know ;) )

I just wish there had been a more accurate way to do this because as it stands now you aren't really getting a great indication of the real service of each company.

Anyway that's just my opinion, I shall go along with the way it is.

This is the response that I have sent in response to forumbulge PM:

I understand your concern but in order to use this thread as reference they need to refer to do it and if they do a bad job then people who bought from them, can come back to the thread and post a negative comment which causes that they lose the advantage.

This will be kind of like a better business bureau for DP members and my hope is that we can find a supplier that can give a good service to members here on DP. :D

    Hi there,

Is it alright if my forum posting company gets involved with this competition aswell?

If you could email be at sales@forumposts.net with the go-ahead, I'll get three of our staff to sign up and start making the posts.

    Thanks

Unfortunately I can not update the original post/poll that started the competition but if you like to post and update DP users about your posters in the thread, you are welcome to do so.

Im not sure the voting system will work well here. Some companies have huge teams of writers who I'm sure will gather to vote.
There is no way to police that, but it's just a thought to keep in mind.

It would also have probably been smarter to open the voting after the posting had finished...

Without disclosing my forum URL I can say with certainty that at least one of these posting firms is not increasing post length as compared to the job they do in general. I had hired one of these firms to do a round of posting for me and can confirm with 100% accuracy there is no exxageration in the representative posts here by that firm. The "I see it all, so I should know" comment smacks of arrogance.

I looked over the samples and found it a close call but levied my vote according to who I felt was doing the best job in this contest, not according to my previous business relationship with one of these firms.

I assume that ForumBulge will retort that my vote is biased as that seems to be his role in this marketplace - spoiler.

If there is such fear of being outperformed or outvoted then I would recommend stepping up to the plate and swinging a heavier bat. Instead of trying to sway the perceptions of people interested in these services that what they see is not what they will get, try to hit the ball. This is your game so play it to the best of your abilities and let is make our choices without assuming you know better than the rest of us because, sir, you don't.

Finally, if this sets the stage for higher expectations then the only ones who stand to win are those employing the services. And the only services who stand to win are those going the extra mile.

    /agreed

all this will really do is give people an idea of what each company can do, and its up to the client from there to decide with whom to go when ordering

the service that recruits 100 ppl to vote for them obviously isnt that great if they feel they need to "cheat" the system

I have more confidence in people in DP than this but even if this happens, people can always check the quality of winner work and their posters on the forum.

Even if a company doesn't win, it is still possible that a person who is looking for such services find one of their posters that he likes and specially ask for that poster.

That is a good attitude. So far I think everybody is doing a good job. May be it will be a good idea for each company to introduce their posters in this thread and explain the areas of expertise that each of their member has, so it will be easier for people to find the right poster.
