    I heard namecheap.com was at $8.88 -- I personally use GoDaddy.com at $9.20/year

godaddy.com use amazon3 code for a 10% discount also look around the forum for more godaddy codes that will save you more depending on what you buy and how much.
I also use registerfly.com for .net and .info they sometimes have good deals
    theflypaper.com list all registerfly specials
Some folks also like 1and1.com I used them for the first time today because they are allowing you to register 5 .info for free.

I'd say godaddy is good. Doesn't yahoo run an add on there homepage for a domain for like $2.99 or something like that?

The Big Deal - I found iPower recently, have you used them for a domain name purchase? Have you seen the godaddy management interface and how does it compare to ipower?

    Thanks

Never use crappy registrars like Yahoo.

Yahoo is for n00bs who don't know anything about domains and just starting out.

GoDaddy is the cheapest. Use some tricks and you can get .COMs for $4 :)

I only use namecheap and have for about a year or so.
    $8.88 per domain.
But they are easy to deal with, the site is easy to navigate, and they just have treated me right.
If you can find the coupon code, I have it bookmarked in a place so hidden I can only find it when I don't need it...lol
But the code saves you 10%

    Also wondering about the $4
I know that if you place an order and add the backorder (the one of $4.95) the domain is $1.99. If you then use the Amazon3 to get a 10% discount it's $6.25.
Used it seval times the last days but I love to hear how to get it down to $4

the same for me, used namecheap mostly, but they suck if you buy in bulk deals, though I like the free whois privacy feature :)
