AdSense Reporter: AdSense graphing tool - feedback needed

    Hi all,

I have been working on a tool to check your AdSense account and generate nice graphs and statistics. Some features:
    • Automatic checks (e.g. per hour)
    • Fully resizable - view graphs full screen
    • Culture aware - date & time shown in local format
    • Supports AdSense for Search as well as AdSense for Content
    • Excellent channel support
    • Weekends are highlighted in data
I would like a few people to download it and give it a go, especially if you are a non-US publisher:
    http://www.clickcatcher.com/adsensereporter/

If you find any problems then send me a PM or an email from the site.

    Thanks, Ross

I am not sure this will ever be possible, but I would like to know which ad in sequence a user clicked and what it paid out. eg. if you have a 728x90 and someone clicked the first ad etc..

Hmm. not sure what this has to do with my software. AdSense Reporter does report the average earnings per click which might be useful.

There are some other threads around on javascript click trackers that can tell you what the ad text was that people clicked on.

No, not yet. I figured most publishers only have a single account so I haven't added support for multiple accounts. I could add it later if I get a few requests for it.

Sounds like the tool will be great !

But as far as checking multiple accounts.....
AdSense rules state only one account per name, but multiple sites is possible, correct ?

Yes, multiple sites are allowed. You can graph them with AdSense Reporter by creating url channels then viewing the channel reports and graphs.

Google have relaxed a little on the multiple accounts now too. If you have a seperate business entity or you can prove you have a need for a second account they will give one. Shez - do you have two accounts? I am curious now about how many people use more than one.
    No worries.. :)

Well, no bug reports so far. That is a good thing! :D Have any international publishers tried it out yet?

I have setup some forums to provide support for AdSense Reporter also.

I've tried this program on two seperate machines with fresh installs of the .NET framework linked from your site. Both machines crash before loading the program with the same error.

Both machines are at totally seperate locations, both run XP.

I have fixed a couple of problems caused by Google changing the login screen.

    Please download the latest version:
    http://www.clickcatcher.com/adsensereporter/download.aspx

If you still have an error you will need to copy the error message and send it to me so I can track it down.

You can also email me at support AT clickcatcher.com

    Thanks, Ross

    Hi,

I am an international adsense publisher (Greece). I downloaded the program but it seems that there is a problem with the way it counts everything!

For example it says that I earned 8907,00 Euro instead of 89,07 Euro!! (I wish I had 8907,00 Euros :) ...Generally it put the "," two places wrong in every count.

Thanks for the bug report. I have updated the program to 1.2.1 so download it again and try it out. The currency columns in the CSV file are now read using your PC language settings.

There are some problems if your PC language is set to european settings as dimoss reported previously.

If you want, you can try changing your PC regional settings and put "." as the decimal symbol and "," as the digit grouping symbol.

I will do more testing and changes for european languages.
