I'm sticking with XP for as long as I possibly can. Thence to either Linux or OSX.

I already made a transition from XP to Vista. Vista doesn't bother me much now that I got what I wanted to work properly with a few modifications.

I will be switching to Vista after Microsoft after the official release of the 2nd service pack for it. Then it should work very well. :)

I'm already running Linux, so I'm quite happy where I'm at.

^ it's that bad? If only ubuntu can work on the "important" programs (well the ones that us programmers are forced to use anyway)

I'm going nowhere... if software developers will not force me to change, with dirty tricks, I don't need anything more than now I have.

Ive got ubuntu installed on my laptop, but there are just too many things that I can run on a non ms machine, so I will just stick with XP...

...in my opinion Vista stinks.... unless you have about 8gb of ram and mother of all processors/graphics cards. at which point Im sure it would be fine.

I'd still stick with XP and Mac, Vista is great but my machine only has 2GB of RAM, which I think is not enough if I open lots of programs, like what I've opened right now.

Vista, i really like the look of it... For me vista seem professional and thats the way I like it..

Although I would not mind Leopard for editing my videos but thats it...

currently i am using win xp but learning linux side by side so that i can somehow manage my servers to some extent and linux is also more reliable than win in all means. i will leave win the moment i feel ease with linux.
