Got an offer for my Travel domain

Got an offer via Sedo for travel.tk, which was peanuts.
After the Sedo fee is taken off, my cut would be less than what I paid for it.

Can anyone help me decide a figure to respond with. In the sedo form, even to cancel negotiations you seem to need to put in a figure ("You must first enter your asking price before you can cancel the negotiations!")

I know its not a dot com but, hey, it's a good keyword. Any helpful appraisers out there?

    Halobitt,

I recently sold a parked domain via a sedo inquiry. They offered a really low price and I countered with 6x the previous years revenue - with the buyer paying all escrow, transfer and registration fees.

    They took the deal :D

The domain valuation services are a waste of money. The final price has to be something that makes you & the buyer comfortable. If not, don't sell it.

I would counter with a ridiculously high number and see what they do - and if possible come up with a rational for the price.

If they are just looking for another domain to monitize they will go away. If they are looking for a domain for their business or new site they will negiotiate.

    Good luck!
