I'm not a girly girl usually, but everyone tells me that my best feature is my hair. So, I will go once every 6-8 months and go to a fancy spa and spend $50 or so to have a true professional spend about an hour or so shaping, conditioning, and cutting my hair. I do that once in awhile and then will use the cheapie places the rest of the time just to keep the length under control. I will go back to the fancy place after my hair starts getting out of control again.....I have hair just like Julia Roberts that can look like clown hair if you don't maintain it... And yes, some people will say that's a ridiculous amount to spend on a haircut, but I do it once or twice a year. I work hard for my money and I don't buy fancy makeup, get facials, or manicures or pedicures so this is my way of making myself feel girly and pretty.....
