Godaddy account setup problem

    HI friends

    I bought a domain from Godaddy. Then after 2 days I bought Godaddy economy pack.

    Now I dont know how to upload files on hosting account. I always used Filezilla to upload my files. But here I am failed to find username and pass suitable for Filezilla. I added one FTP user in godaddy hosting account. Also tried that UN and Pass too. But all failed. Can you help me How I can get UN and pass for Filezilla.

    Also my ftp is not opening on my computer. I am getting this error.
    "Windows canot access this folder. Make sure you typed the file name corectly and that you have permission to acces this folder"
    "The connection with the server was reset"

    And Can you refer me any ebook for server adminstration or all about hosting setup accounts info.

    use site name as host

    username and password for ftp accounts as given by godaddy

    you can use internet explorer also

    in address bar put

    ftp://sitename.com

    from File menu choose login as

    supply username and pass

    And you will see all files and folders

    I tried... but got the same error

    i advice you to use a ftp program such as flashfxp or any other you can find. in godaddy you should open your control panel for your hosting and from the FTP section you should be able to see your username and change its password. you have to wait around 30 mins for the change to happen.

    from the menu:

    hosting & services > my hosting account

    then you will see the domains that you have setup hosting for, click open next to it. your control panel will open, in that panel:

    Settings > Manage FTP Users

    you can see your username there and change your password accordingly.

    is it possible to setup my acount without adding my domain. As my domain is already working under another hosting... 1st i want to upload my data base and all other stuff then i want to add the GODADDY dns so its it possible?
