Sir Edmund Hillary has passed away :(

    The grandfather of mountaineering has died. I'm sure there will be members here from NZ, Nepal and India who this man and how he has worked so hard in Nepal and India - climbing Everest was spectacular but he was so much more than that.

    This certainly is a sad day indeed. I am not from NZ but I know this man by reputation. I mourn the loss to the people he had around him. Let's not forget what he had accomplished and wish the best to all his friends and family.
