What are the best ways to advertise a Blog?

I thought about Social Networking websites, but my blog has started to die a bit more.

With over 500 posts, you've seen enough of the same ol' typical replies, but you still have to ask that, huh?

And there are already a couple of threads on this page already.

You claim to be able to drive traffic to people's site, however, you can't even do it for your own?

I just need to know different advertising techniques to the ones that I know.

 

Forum sigs, blog comments, link exchanges, directories, having trustworthy people actually recomend your site, articles.... same old, same old.

The trick is finding the right sort of blogs and forums to post on. For a seo niche you could even do some guest blogging with a link.

 

article marketing, email marketing, forum marketing etc etc. spend half a day looking into threads here at DP and you'll get your answers

 

if you are a blogger,
try to create quality content and traffic will follow via search engines.
