Got a large pile of collateral? It's going to take real estate.

lol USA banks arent in the business of just handing over large piles of cash to people who arent even in USA. They could do zero about it if you defaulted on it. I assume you dont have collateral, or you could remortage or get a loan from a local bank. I guess you need to get a job and start saving!

There are firms which specialise in giving loans to small businesses. Fastupfront.com is one of them
Not used their service. So i'm not giving a testimonial

I need 20k too, I think we all do
Too bad i'm not going to get it on a website loaded with scammers and nothing to do with serious loans of 20k from out of nowhere.

You should to do the bank where you are and sign your life off or go to one of those loan places like someone else said
    OR
Go to a loanshark but he will probably take your life as collaterial;)

Can I give you all a suggestion?

read this guy's who went from 500 to owning the Dallas Mavs.

Earn it, I remember when I started my software firm. I was hurting like none other but I came out way ahead of the game, so can you. It's so boring and enabling to borrow money, work for it. It's worth it :)

    blogmaverick.com

screenshot that one as you are a real good joker ;-) I seriously doubt that as your poker balance is still.....zero!

I don't know if you can Prosper.com or LendingClub.com since you live in Canada. You might want to check into it though.

I am a money lender but, there is no way you are going to borrow money based on what you say.
The person who is reaping the rewards is always the person to take the risk, in the country the business is registered
Your not making a lot of sense.
I am guessing you are the principle shareholder, so why not just borrow locally. Unless you are CEO of a biotechnology company for instance who is moving from USA to UK, as a specific example, of a good risk. I have done deals like so, with no country specific history just a sensible underwriter and a supporting email. You need to revert to plan B.
Also $20 is a very round figure.

The criteria for lends all over the world is
    1. Does he pay his bills?
    2. If the person is e.g 18 out of school as in canada.
    Credit by association/
Does his family pay their bills? Hence an 18 year with a part time job and a good family is a safe lend.
Even if the 18 year old was a waster, the family would cover it.
    Same all round world.
Thus we can each answer our own questions
HSBC = Hong Kong Shanghai incidentally
