Do you think people care about ugly people?

Studies show that pretty people are cared for more than ugly people.

If a ugly person falls, about 20% of the people who talk by will help them up, if a "pretty" person falls, about 89% of the people who walk by will help.

Well, that's my bit of knowledge.

 

Too many statistics being passed around. It seems like everyone has to quantify everything. Stop quntifying things people.

 

Anybody more likely to help an pretty person up over an ugly person isn't ever worth the time.

 

And ugly ppl earn less according here.
I guess this is why I'm always skint.. Damn!...... Anyone know a plastic surgeon?

Yes, people do care (obviously there are exceptions)

 

ugly people also get ignored more in a school enviroment..and i've found it to be true.

 

20% of the people will help anyone that has fallen, the other 69% are not really helping, they are just trying to score.

I go even further. I only help the person if its a female model falling after tripping over her lamborghini.

 

It all boils down to this: we all think of ourselves first and act out of self-interest. Giving money to a tramp is a good example; you kinda do it, just to make yourself feel better than the tramp.

 

Man, that's really shallow. I would help if she only had a porsche.

 

Babies respond better to good looking people. It's a fact.

 

Fact, we all get old and ugly!

 

In our local Sainsbury's there's someone working at the till in the back and she's like a whale and stinks out the entire place. It's repulsive. I think she's nto been sacked yet because her boss doesn't dare come anywhere near her. She is ugly AND stinks.

That's my bit of knowledge.

We once had a good dicussion in a philosophy class about whether fat people should pay more tax because they (if it's down to food) put a larger strain on things like medical care systems and even road maintenance.

i don't know what that's got to do with this but I had the urge to share it.

 

It's human nature, survival of the fittest...
Society works in the same way.

So be nice to everyone, that fat guy might be the one saving your ass!

I think they should.

Just like I feel the need to write to the airlines sometime soon and express my ideas on baggage allowences.

So on our ticket it says 20 KG. Yet some fat heffer who weights 10x more than me also gets 20 KG.

If we go over that we get charged through the roof per kilo.

But the fat heffer weights more, so should have less baggage allowence as they are already using alot of their alloted weight. Or normal sized people should have more. simple.

Just a stoned debate we were having the other night...............

 

So I guess this means we should subsidize skinny models who snort cocaine so they can buy more coke
