100 pages of unique content or stolen article? you need to promote your site. u dont simply get visitors just from setting up a 100 page website.
buddy it has around 200-250 unique visitors. i am just thinking of adsense but i will only add if its going to give me an income say around $5000 or else i dont think its worth the headache.
Wow - no need to get all assholish here! If you have 200-250 unique users per day, and 1% click the ads, that is between 2 and three clicks per day. average each out at $0.20 per click, and that makes you roughly $0.60 cents per day, or ~$219 for the year. If you get a 5% CTR, at $0.50 per click, that could work out to ~$2200 per year. if you get 10% at $1.00 per click, that works out to ~$9000 per year. In other words, it depends how many ads your visitors click, and how much you get paid for each ad. Your mileage may vary. What is most important is the type of information you have on the website. Certain subjects will pay alot more per click than others. As far as headaches, Adsense is really simple. Even assumint\g the $200 per year, that is worth it. It only takes you the time to add a small fragment of code to your webpages, and the time it takes you to deposit a couple fo cheques throughout the year!
The amount of money you willl make depends greatly on what type of traffic you recieve and how well your ads are placed within your pages... Placement is very important.... Some people have tremendouse sites that can be easily out performed by a smaller site if the ads are placed right.... You should go for it, because it is really not that much of a headache to get it going...
What headache? Sign up using your email ID , update your payment info , copy code from your account and paste in your website pages . I don't know how many brain cells this would require . If you think copy paste is a trouble , then let me or someone on DP do it for you . 7 cent a page. Ask your friends if someone could help. 100 pages is a good start but you will either require more pages or more visitors to get $5000. Regards Jeet
thats depand on so many factors .. but for $5000 you will probably need between 1 million and 5 million Pages views / Month, and if your niche is travel and you have that kind of traffic you better go with a cpm company like Tribalfusion. + Travel affiliates to generate leads and sales.
I have 2 sites (1 = 165 pages, the other is 303 pages). Thus total no of pages is around 460+. Both are travel/hospitality related websites and are earning me around 600-800 per month from Adsense alone since January 2007. I started development including Ad placements (mainly 300x250) since last year April 2006 and receive around 500 uniques daily from both websites in total. Thanks.
