Oh man, you are a serious buzz kill today Rob. What happened to Jessica Simpson? You made my day. Rep given.
You're right- I've been away for a while. Sorry for calling Ron Paul supports "whiny bitches"! I can't receive infractions unfortunately, so you'll just have to accept my apology. Sorry, Paul supporters!
As usual, Ronnies jumping in and out, without having even slightest clue, cursing Fox news. Apology in advance, but 'whiny bunch' seems just right. Fox simply printed the original AP article. It was AP that left Paul out, not Fox. The original Article can be seen here - http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5h5OOlm1KiB8Xqt3JqGsF2uBwQL9gD8TUAFS80, It matches word to word with Fox article. Herald Tribune printed the edited version that added Ron Paul's name in the article. Get a clue guys.
LOL. You, and only you can call me a whiny bitch anytime. I've been a forum admin and moderator for awhile now on other boards. It's hard to participate without rolling up your sleeves and wrestling with the pigs.
That cracks me up! People say all the time that it's un-Amercian if you don't vote. But, I seem to remember that we live in a land of freedom. A land where I have a voice in who runs this country. So, did you ever consider the fact that maybe some people don't vote because they are not happy with ANY of the candidates? There have been a few times where I haven't voted, and it was because that was my way of voicing my opinion. If they all suck, why am I going to vote for someone I don't think is up to the job?
I'll admit it, I do not think he's got a shot of actually winning. Without trying though we are doomed to more of the same. If he can even spread a message, even if it's not so much about his platform, maybe even simply a third party 'possibly' or even that someone can have support without the usual pandering, it is a win IMHO. The message and the future is more important than him actually winning, that is why I support him. You can call me whatever you want, just as long as you call me
That is exactly why I don't vote and probably never will. I can't recall one worthy candidate in my lifetime who actually made it to a national Presidential election. That said, this country is "free" and he can hate anyone for any reason he chooses- ha!
Crazy_Rob, you are a bit more comfortable with the status quo than I am. I can understand your cynicism but the fact is, things *DO* change. Look throughout history. Things change. It just takes enough people working for that change for it to happen.
Mods can't ban me either. Only Shawn can....hey, where is Shawn BTW? I have one of those military-grade, indestructible panasonic notebooks!
You didn't vote a "few times"? Are you old enough to have even voted a "few times"? (few being 3 or more) Something tells me you aren't that old yet. But I agree that it is part of our freedom to not vote if you don't like or agree with any of the candidates.
Exactly, you don't know who he is and he was mentioned in the stories, but Paul was not. It is what is so great about American politics, anyone can run and the media really shouldn't be a propaganda machine. ...and everyone wants to be the next Reagan this year
Don't bother. Facts don't seem to matter to a number of RP supporters. They only get mad when I have questioned things around RP and I personally like the way he has voted and much of his platform. It is the unknown that concerns me the most. But no one will help with the unknowns, they just call me names and try to belittle me, which just adds to my concerns. If the maturity level of the actual U.S. citizens that support RP would rise I might get some answers. The one person I know locally that supports him is in his 50's but he is one of those I don't care to talk to, since he is a Identity cult person who hates the "Jews".
