What is the real benefits of directory of directories?

Just my question. I know that is a good resources for webmasters but what benefits for other visitors? This is only noob question.

 

Well, the one obvious benefit is that a human reviewed each site, so every site within a specific category should be relevant.

 

Which other visitors. It's intended for webmasters, so you really don't care about any other visitors besides webmasters. Other visitors shall appear on such a site by an accident only in any case.

 

May find those helpful to put their advertisments on based on number of unique visitors.

 

i think the links are more valuable than links from forum or guest books.
good links will help your site get better position on search engines.

 

I am running my own DoD for mainly 2 reasons

1.To provide a collective quality SEF direcctories for webmasters and other directory owners and allow them to add their resource for free in the process of SEO.
2.This resource will be useful for any individual to get a regular updating list.
with the latest directories information.
