Can someone tell me how to make a graphic a clickable link? I insert the graphic I want to use but when I go to insert hyperlink it just puts the file name next to the graphic. I have highlighted it and everything. 2 hours later I still can't get this darn thing to work. Help? :(

There are probably several ways to do this but I...

Click on the image and then in the bottom properties box type in the link (ie: http://.....). Alternatively you can drag the little crosshair looking circle onto a file in DreamWeavers file browser. And alternatively you can click the folder icon and select a file to link to that way as well.

If you don't have this properties window make sure it is open via the "Window" menu and then click "Properties". On the mac version it is the second option down from the top.

Maybe it's not referencing everything correctly. Make sure your entire site is located in the same folder. For example, make a new folder called "website". Put your index.html file in that folder. Now create another folder inside "website" called "images" and put all your images in there. In Dreamweaver when you set up your site by going to the "Site" menu and then "New Site" you'll select where the files are located on your hard drive and this will be the "website" folder you created. Now everything should link correctly.

My guess is that if you go to your site online where the image isn't showing up and you look at the source ("view source" under your browsers "view" menu usually) the <img src=""> will say something like c:\\documents%20and%20settings\..........
The above should fix this issue.

Okay, I have a new problem. I am trying to put vertical google ads on my page. I have NO CLUE how to get them to appear on the right and left with the text in the middle. I tried to create a table and put the ad in there. That worked except when I went to make the table for the right side of the page, it inserted the table under the other one instead of to the right of it. It's frustrating me now. If anyone knows what I am doing wrong please let me know. Also please explain in 2 year old terms lol I am still learning the program.

Here is all I am getting
