You guys with 20+ sites - Do you use the same layout for each?

I haven't done enough testing to know what type of layout works "best" but with my plan to build about 20 sites over the next week with the content that I have, I really just want to stick to one layout.

I am curious, do you stick to one simple layout for all of your sites, the same one?

I've got 150 simple content article sites planned for '06 and I want to stick with just *one* of the 5 or so layouts that I currently use.

What to to... what to do...

Id say yes... since you dont really want to spend so much time on different layouts... doesnt really matter unless you have a themed design or something

 

If they layout produces results just use it. I use the same layout for all my blogs. Just change the banner. There's a million and one people using the default wordpress theme with a different banner. If the content is there people don't care.

 

Thanks for the input guys. Yes, I do not plan on taking time out to change the layout in the future, adding content will be enough, but that part will be easy especially with a few staff members working within the family when I need them.

I use the same layouts, I just change the colors in a css file if they are in a network.

 

I stink at layouts and HTML, so I use the same layouts for each type of site.
