    What I did was create a site that looks like shit and full of errrors in I.E and tell my visitors to download firefox
    If the visitor are really interested in your content, they have no choice :)

    And what about all the visitors that you lost in the long run?

    If you have a site with good content and are pulling in the right traffic you can make much more than $1.00 from referrals, think long term not short term my friend and you could be doing this:
