All is good John for 99% of the participants. Its a real shame that the 1% have to resort to slamming people and their strategies. It comes down to BALLS and who's got em and who doesn't. We'll see on May 15th!

Too bad you can't get that kind of publicity for this contest. You'd think there would be thousands of folks willing to help out if they knew about it.

Nice job Jim ... it's nice having you up there in the SERP's (preferably below of course) since we are surrounded by domains with V-E in them ... plus the black hats from Team Taggle.

BTW, I think I might be able to pass you back when/if the Big Daddy data center is rolled out ... we'll see ... it's a long contest - good luck!

Yea, one of us should win. No black hat and no KW domain.

    Let's see how it goes.

Taggle Team is formidable - and the KW domains have a huge advantage - did you notice that Yahoo hardly even ranks 'em, whereas Google must weight this HUGE.

Plus some of the KW guys are good people ... www.v7ndotcomelursrebmem.net said they'd toss half of that $4,000 toward my charity - very classy move ... and there's a real cute newslady on that page reporting on the V-E contest! ;-)

If you look at the main University of Maryland Center for Celiac Research web site, you'll see a link to that Good Morning America story (they must have just put that up) ... and right underneath it is a link to a story titled "SEO Contest for Celiac Disease" (which has been there for days).

The CFCR doesn't track web stats, but I bet they had an increase in traffic today since they were on National TV ... so anybody coming to their web site probably checked out the SEO contest.

So how many people Emailed me today asking if how they can help win that $7,000 for Celiac Disease Research - no comment! ;-)

Welcome Team Taggle - you guys have some creative stuff out there ... and you guys are serious, serious competition. BTW, I am already linking to one of you guys on my v7ndotcom elursrebmem black hats page ... but I'm confused what is the "best/main" URL for you guys - let me know and I'll update this.

P.S. My birthday is Bastille Day - Viva 'La France! ;-)

I was more kidding, but I think there will be some major setbacks for many contestants who are now on the first 3 pages :)

The Black Hat/Bat/Cat/Rat page has been updated with that link - hope you understand I'm using a nofollow - I'll remove it after the contest is over. BTW, is this page part of Team Taggle (great picture there) ... or is Eclipse a seperate Black Hat team?

P.S. Anyone else seeing a REDUCTION in the number of results - I saw a rollback to just under 500,000 this morning ... and am seeing it again this afternoon. Yea, I know it depends on what datacenter you end up pointing too ... but these sure look like BigDaddy results.

Wow, just checked and data center to which I connected had showed 3,540,000 but BigDaddy surely does not. It will be fun watchinng Big Daddy roll out. At the moment I can not tell whether BigDaddy will help or hurt my pages.
