Do you think this is worth it, Or a waste of time?

I just started a blog thats all about a look into a webmasters life.

Everything from me getting out of bed, to me doing custom screen casts of tools and tricks I use.

SO , with that said , I was thinking to get more people to enjoy my content, I should email people like my mom and ask her to send emails to her friends to say "hey look what my son is doing"

I thought maybe they might be interested, and who knows maybe her friends have kids and they might enjoy my blog as well..

Think its worth a shot?

Think regular people might be interested ?

I would love to hear your thoughts,

Oh btw the blog is in my feed, if you are interested , I am not into the whole link spam thing

Really would like to know your opinion, But then again you might want to see what the blog is about before you answer me as well.

ofc its worth it, its know that word of mouth is one of biggest traffic increaser

 

Yea, I was thinkin' they might just be interested to see how or what it takes behind the scenes,

Hell they might just laugh at me

 

What ever they do, its all traffic for you

 

By the way, I love your blog.

It is original and does have some cool tips.

 

Try to create quality videos, instead of going through the easy way of making just lotssss of videos.

the best way is divide your video per day!.. say if you plan to posts 3 videos a day! make 1 about your life and 2 real tips videos! or 1:1 thats what you meant i guess

I was actually thinking of making two sections / pages with links

One for the "funny webmaster videos"

and the other page could have all the "how tos"

Then the home page could have the recent

That way you could just go to what you want fast

Yes its a good idea! but i personally would like to see your life/ugly face as well so it will not make much difference to me
also if possible leave a gap between your comments! or highlight alternate comments as who posted what is confusing

Oh, btw, I'm using my 1024x768 resolution laptop with Firefox 2 loaded, and the alignment seems slightly out of sync on the right. I've reloaded the page a few times and it's fully loaded, but the problem persists. I just thought you might like to know

Yea, that template is all wacked, I was just learning css at the time.,

I will be coding a new template over the weekend

But yea, its really just a way for everyone to see what goes on in a years time,

It will be fun at least

 

You don't need your mom's friends to visit your site.
Most probably they won't understand anything.

Focus on promoting your site on other webmaster sites, blogs, forums instead.
Targeted traffic will convert. Random traffic will just improve your Alexa rank

Its really not "easy" to let the whole world see you in bed and just waking up.......

maybe easy to just point and post , but sure as hell hard to do.

I think the fact that I am opening up my whole entire life to the world as a webmaster will help me become a better person and maybe and the same time, help others as well, ah who knows,

Maybe a year from now, I will just be the dude everyone laughed at, but I really just need this for me then anything else,

But you ARE right, If I was going to produce this for someone, like for a show, sure editing and more professional looking cuts would be better,

But I am just some random webmaster dude with 6 kids that vblogs
